Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is one of the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television shows. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and was granted refugee status to remain. Her parents raised her two sisters and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her TV career by being featured in National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded the award in recognition of her role in Chiara, the main character of Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. She was also an actress in numerous television series, including How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting character on the show Blood Shot. Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an independent comic for You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada first appeared in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. as the character Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care during the show's second season.
